Always a popular class, spin has never lost its fun or gone out of fitness fashion. A highly addictive class, and once you start this form of exercise it becomes part of you. Class participates can lose themselves in the music and can escape all the stress of life by just switching off. No pressure is every felt in this class to keep up with other class members and it is the only class where you can an elite athlete sitting next to the most unconditioned participate and both will get the maximum out of their workout.
Spin focuses on endurance, strength, intervals and sprints, using a stationary exercise bike with a weighted flywheel. Spin is an effective way to burn calories and if resistance is added a good way to achieve resistance training. Rebound Jump It
Step aerobics is making a welcome return to BEWELLFIT. Step aerobics is a classic cardio workout. It has been around for decades and is a fun workout that works.
By stepping up and down and around a raised platform it helps to boost the heart rate and breathing, strengthen your muscles, reducing fat. It also burns calories making it an ideal way to maintain your target body weight.
Routines will be kept simple...no fancy routines...easy to follow.
REBOUND JUMP IT
Bounce n Burn....is a tough cardio and toning workout... combining movements on the trampolines and the exercises off the trampoline for timed sessions allows you to get the maximum from the workout. The actions on the trampoline such as jumping jacks or high knees combined with exercises off the trampoline really high lights how weightless you can be on a trampoline. Everything ( even basic exercises ) can suddenly seem very tough when you are grounded with gravity.

Never under estimate Drums Alive. This class is fun, creative and a great stress buster. It is a high impact high intensity class but it can be a low impact low intensity. You can sit or you can stand!!!!! The choice is up to you.....however, it is a class the more you put in the more you get out.
The action of drumming stimulates the brain and provides benefits of rhythm and music.
BEWELLFIT is one of the few companies that provides Drums Alive in East Sussex and teaches this form of exercise. The instructor was one of the first instructors to teach Drums Alive in the U.K. Therefore, all the choreograph is produced by BEWELLFIT and no imitations or copies of other instructors work.

Glow fit is new to BEWELLFIT.
Basic simple dance routines to classic pop songs from the 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s.
The routines are simple enough to follow and it works in a low impact style designed for people to have some fun but reducing the amount of impact on the joints.

An effective and exciting approach to the more traditional form of Yoga. It aims to work mind and body by using strengthening poses and linking them together to form a series of poses that challenge the mind and body.
Unlike traditional Yoga, fitness yoga is very westernised and does not focus on breathe and relaxation but building strength and challenging the body and the mind to its full capacity. Class participates are always amazed how far they can push their body inducing feelings of euphoria.
Just the name of this class creates shivers down the spine!!!!!! Its the class that every one loves to hate!!!!! Only way to describe this class is tough, tough, tough !!!!! But the benefits if you stick at this class are phenomenal. You will gain a strong core, a strong back, strong legs and arms but most importantly a strong mind of pure determination that this class is not going to beat you.
By using a small ball combining exercises of Tai Chi, Qi Gong, cardio dance, fusion of Pilates and Yoga, Feldenkrais and relaxation by mixing all of these disciplines together it creates a workout like no other. Focusing on the principle of Taoism and working with the five elements of wood, water, fire, metal and earth, and the principles of the seasons spring, summer , high summer, autumn and winter working with taijitu the Yin and Yang symbol to balance the mind, muscles and create a very effective workout based on the Chinese disciplines.

Most people think that Kettlebell is a modern form of exercise and originated from America. It was one of the most well kept secrets in Hollywood for years when training the stars their tough fitness regimes.
However, its not American and its not new!!!!
Originally from Russia it dates back to the 1700s, it was used by farmers to measure the crops out but boredom took over and they started swinging the Kettlebell it was about gaining strength and getting fitter. The Kettlebell is great for strength and conditioning. It also helps to improve cardiovascular health, increase strength and muscle mass, improves maximal and explosive strength, improves jumping power and increases vo2 max and conditioning. INSTRUCTOR WAS THE FIRST PERSON TO QUALIFY IN THIS FORM OF EXERCISE IN EAST SUSSEX.

Class that just focuses on the Abs. Starting with a short warm up using low impact low intensity cardio moves to raise the heart rate and allow the muscles to become more pliable. Ab Attack then just focuses on the abdominals whether it be traditional exercises or more modern exercises this allows you to work every abdominal muscle through every plane of the body. Combat It is a choregraphed class that uses boxing and combat moves. High energy and high intensity but can be tailored to low impact and low intensity.

Using the concepts of boxing a typical class can use all the elements that a boxer would use to keep fit. Most classes involve partner work such as pad work, shadow work, skipping, shuttle runs, hitting pads, kicking pads, press ups and sit ups. Box fit is a challenging class and a great stress buster. It focuses on an all over body workout mixing cardiovascular training and muscular strength and endurance. It also helps to improve motor skills by combining boxing moves into a sequence improving reflex and mental skills. BEWELLFIT FOCUSES ON A DIFFERENT STYLE AND AIMS TO CHANGE THE FORMAT EACH WEEK THUS PREVENTING BOREDOM UNLIKE OTHER LICENSED PROGRAMMES.
Meditation is based and focused on breathing techniques, wellbeing and cleansing the body. We focus on Qi-gong and Tai chi movements, gentle stretching and gentle yoga, breathing and charka cleansing ( No mantras ). This class allows you to become and one with yourself to release and relax.

Using hoop, Boogie Hoop creates and excellent way to help improve the tummy muscles and the waist muscles. The hoops are designed for adults to use and the exercises provide a low impact workout that is tough and challenging. This type of hooping focuses on tricks and dance.
We strongly advise that you wear a swimming costume under your t-shirt and trousers for the first couple of weeks as many people experience bruising....it is quite superficial and with strength, practice and time will go..

BEWELLFIT is proud to have such a unique class on its timetable. Aerial yoga is a workout using swings attached from the ceiling and offers suspension work. This can be a gentle relaxing class or it can be a tough toning workout class that elevates the heart rate.
This class carries some risk factors so it is vital that all medical conditions are disclosed to the instructor.
If attending this class for the first time we ask you to wear clothing that covers the body such as leggings ( no shorts ), long sleeved T-shirts etc.

Gabriela was born in Latvia and has lived in the UK for 5 years. Since, being young she has always been a spiritual person and has decided to share the gift through the healing art of Reiki.
After much study and practice she has achieved both her Level 1 and Level 2 as issued by the federation of holistic therapies.
During these sessions she will guide you through the techniques that can reduce stress or pain and promote healing and wellness.
Reiki will help assist in the body's natural healing and help develop emotional, mental and spiritual well being no matter what day to day life may have in store for us.
She will also work on grounding and meditation techniques.

BEWELLFIT is proud to introduce Adele who will teaching Aerial Hoop.
Aerial Hoop is a large metal ring much like a hula hoop that is suspended from the ceiling or A frame. It is a full body workout and you will build strength in your arms, shoulders and upper body, it is a fantastic way to strengthen your core.
You will also see improvements in your flexibility, balance and coordination as you slowly begin to contort your body to new poses.
Starting with a warm up which involves a mixture of cardio to get heart rate up and warm the muscles up.
You then move onto the equipment and start with conditioning movements, and build on what you have previously learnt. The session will finish with some cool down stretches.

H.I.T. / KETTLEBELL MASH UP TRAINING
High Intensity Interval Training. Classes are short and sweet and for a very good reason ( classes usually last for a minimum of 30 minutes to a maximum of 40 minutes ). Class is a full cardiovascular class that involves short periods of anaerobic exercises with less intense recovery periods. It improves VO2 max, reduces body mass, and increases strength and endurance whether cardiovascular or muscular. Adaptations and low impact versions can be given. Tough class but as soon as you start its time to finish.
CHAIR BASED EXERCISE
Chair based exercise is great for those who struggle to exercise in mainstream. This class is classed as rehabilitation and suitable for anyone who is suffering from physical / mental disabilities and co-morbidities.
Chair based exercise is great for building a strong core, it helps to improve range of motion, strength, stability, co-ordination and balance.

LEGS, BUMS AND TUMS (LBT)
One of the more traditional classes and is popular with all age groups. LBT is a class that focuses on a basic warm up using deep leg movements such as squats and lunges and then focuses on the legs, bums and tums. LBT can be a varied class and can change on a regular basis making it adaptable for all age groups. Generally considered a toning class but do not be fooled this is not an easy class and can be made more challenging by adding weights, bands and other equipment to make it more challenging. BEWELLFIT PRIDE THEMSELVES ON MAKING THIS TRADITIONAL AND MODERN.
Zumba is inspired by a popular form of exercise that hit the fitness scene about 10 years ago... Latin inspired dance routines but also using modern everyday music and chart hits this is a fun class and no co-ordination is really needed as along as you can relax and just move. A good workout a smile always helps....a class not to be taken to serious.
